Believe it or not...
NO Leaks! Polymer Magic!!!

What You'll Need:
-
Plastic ziplock bag
-
Sharp pencils
1. Sharpen pencils.
2. Fill bag with some water and seal shut.

What will happen if you poke the pencils through the bag of water??

Believe it or not, you can push the pencils through the bag and out the other side without spilling a drop!

The science:
Plastic bags are made of a polymer called low-density polyethylene (LDPE). When you push a pencil through, the tip slips between the polymer strands and pushes them aside. The material then seals around the pencil, preventing leaks.
Make sure to keep the bag over the sink, or outside when removing the pencils!
